i have a 1995 chrysler lhs?

about a month ago, it accelerated in a parking lot and i almost hit a van. then a month later, it stalls with no spark. i replaced the ignition coil. didnt help. took it to a mechanic. he put on a new cam sensor, timing belt tensioner and plugs. its starts and idles smoothly, but in the 1200 rpm range it hesitates badly. it runs smooth above that, but mainly hesitates at take off or anytime durning the 1200 rpm range. the mechanic is confused, and im broke now lol. can anyone please lend me some advise. the car does not have a airflow sensor on it. thanks
