i have a 1994 dodge ram that wont start all the time, what could it be? it will run...

...and start all day then? it wont start. We think it may be the fuel pump. last night it just stopped running will driving down a road. i coasted to a spot i could pull on waited a few minutes said a little prayer, and she fired up and got me home. this morning she turns over but wouldn't start. the tank is almost full. before this all happened if it got to a 1/4 of a tank it would sputter. like it was running out of gas. what do you think?
