I have a 1992 toyota paseo that a friend wants to give $6,000 for waht to do?

Hi, the car is only valued at around $3,000.00 in the kelly blue book, but I have it well taken care of, and with $1000 rims, and more with a great soundsystem(including subwoofers). Thing is, he wants to give me $6,000 for it, that is way too much, aand beside, my car is not for sale. Why are some people willing to pay more money for something if it isnt worth that much in value to begin with. I wont sell only because I love my car, Im not money hungry, and its in great condition.
