I have a 1990 Buick ,it is miss firing and cat converter is fire red whats the problem?

I clered out the converter, so it is not clogged and I'm still having the problems.Fuel pump was replaced also. I'm not getting any trouble codes. Could it be the coil pack?
 
Have your timing reset. And your spark plugs looked at, may need replacing. Not expensive.
