to over half on gauge.? Just bought this toyota ran excellent when I bought it several days ago. It was supposed to have a new engine. Once it gets warmed up the temp gauge rises and the engine begins to lope. If I shut it off and start it again the temp gauge rapidly goes back to the normal range and the engine runs smooth. I put in a new thermostat but didn't make a difference.
