...several days then stops! Then ? it won't start! It cranks good all the while. I checked the vacuum lines and distributor wiring to no avail. My mechanic can find nothing wrong. HELP!!
tap on the fuel pump next time it happens to see if it'll start again. Fuel pump is on the sender, in the tank, so you'll have to crawl under the truck and tap on it where the fuel lines come out of the tank. if it starts working you've found the culprit. You can change it without removing the gas tank.
