I have a 1988 dodge ram 50 4x4 2.6L and I'm pretty sure my brake booster went out, I just replaced it except before putting it on I didn't adjust my push rod on it to specifications(or at all) before I started driving it, when I was pulling into my driveway I felt my brake pedal give me a little kick back at me so I shut it off, took off the master cylinder(which is also brand new+bench bled) and adjusted the push rod on the brake booster , put the master cylinder back on then bled my lines n the brakes felt fine, theis morning I went out and I had to go nearly to the floor so stop, I took it home checked my lines n my fluid level-no loss of fluid but now I have to go all the way to the floor for it to stop, I'm pretty sure its the booster but I need help please to be sure so I don't replace it and still now have brakes? please

try pulling the vacuum line off of it and see if you got brakes with it disconnected, that's one way to find out, usually when the brakes go nearly to the floor like that its a loss of pressure or air in the system that causes this too happen,if you didn't change the setting on the rod for the new booster you should still have brakes on it,adding or swapping out a booster usually doesn't require you to change the setting, and even on some rebuilt master cylinders you sometimes don't have to change the setting,it sounds more like air in the system than anything else, sometimes those are real hard to get bleed out, good luck.

thats wierd.
i just broke my power booster.
my little brother broke it. he sucks at driving. and i guess he breaked so hard that he actually broke it. so i just replaced it.
