Is it possible to "Beef-up" a 1987 Dodge Dakota? I pull a 16' Cargo trailer. Is there anyway I could install a really strong transmission, rear end, leaf springs to make this Dakota perform like a 1 ton? Is this possible?
you can install larger gears with a lower gear ratio that should give you more torque you can also install aftermarket overload springs that will increase you payload
