I have a 1985 yamaha 700 virago the C.D.I is going out. the ? is will a C.D.I from

Should work ok. I believe the bikes are identical except for the smaller engine in the US model which was done for import/tax reasons

a 1985 750 work??? the C.D.I for the 700 is unavable thats why i need to know hope someone can help!!!!!!
