when its cold , it cranks but will not start.

the battery is good and yet it still won't start when its cold.

when the weather is warm the car starts fine.

any suggestions

Have you cleaned the choke and intake flapper? With the engine running use carburetor cleaner and spray small amounts at a time and clean the flapper.Check to see if the choke is working.Good luck.

Probably a bad Ignition module or ECU. You need to see if it gets a spark when it's cold.

I imagine that your car is carbureted. Check to see if the choke is closed when the engine is cold. If not, there's your problem...it could be sticky or gummed up, and in need of cleaning.

check the starter..and fuel filter...I had a Topaz with 325,000miles in it and it was still running strong when I gave it to a friend...who wrecked it into a telephone pole and totaled it

tune up....plugs...wires...cap/rotor if so equiped...throw in a can of injector cleaner for fun
