i have a 1984 goldstar tv set and i need help?

If it's totally dead--no sign of life at all when you try to turn it on with the on/off button on the cabinet--that's fairly easy to fix but it requires electronic repair skills that are beyond the average set owner. Any professional repair would cost you far more than the set is worth.

A TV like that that worked for 26 years has exceeded its life expectancy by about triple. It's time to recycle it and get a new one.
