i brought to shop to put a heavy duty battery in as it is 467hp and 583 torque on dyno w/o NOS. Choke light stayed on after they changed battery and I was told by 3 other mechanics that it was my alternator fried causing choke light to comeon. They said who did battery probably switched wires and melted starter wire and I heard a pop and that was alternator which was 299.95 new. Further investigation showed that they rehooked up alt. with 2 starnds of 50 wires in one heavy gauge wire and blew it up. Could this be it?
