the brake light switch...? I replaced the stoplight switch and the lights are still on. What do I do next?

If you unplug the brake light switch do the lights go out? If they do then you need to look and see if the button on the switch is being depressed when the pedal is up. Some of the hondas used a small plastic bumper to depress the brake light switch but they sometimes break with age. You can epoxy a penny in its place and it will work like new and won't break like the old one.

There's a adjustment on the switch make sure the switch is closed/off when the pedal is not depressed.it should be pushing on the plunger on the switch. If not adjust it there's probably a nut on it where it goes through the hole that it fits through.Or else sometimes the brake light wires go through the switch in the steering column and they get pinched.
