and it acts like it is stuck in first gear. You can try putting it in second or third but it will still be in first. You can bump it into reverse and put it in second and it will change to second and then has trouble going into the third but will eventually go.
My question is....Does standards transmissions from that old use clutch fluid? or could this just be a clutch adjustment issue?
What else could be wrong...don't give me that I need a new transmission because I don't believe that is the case.
