I jut recently bought a 1978 Chevy K10 (i guess its a 1/2 ton?) 4WD from a friend, it has a 350 SBC, im not sure what kinda transfer or what model of a 4 spd it has.
i bought it because i like to go muddin, and this truck would be perfect for it after a little work.
i paid $1900 for it, and it has 40" Swamper Boggers on it.
so i figure that the tire alone are worth that.
but all i need is some 4.56 or 4.88 gears for it.
the only problem is i don't know how many lugs it has.
and i believe it has a 14 bolt rearend and a Dana 44(?) front axle.
but i need to know what kind of transmission i have, as well as the transfer case.
you input would be greatly appreciated.
