front wheels of the ground? I have a 350 in it right now pushing roughly 350-400 at the wheels but, I want to be able to yank em up...and what would be the best route to getting the desired power??

It would help to have really low gears in the back so all the torque is instantly applied to the ground (like 4.10's, 4.56's or lower). The main key though is having a lot of traction, so you'll need high gripping slicks. Having 350-400 horsepower at the wheels might be enough, but lots of low end torque is probably the way to do it.
