This engine has a faily lumpy cam and has the "Cammel Hump" fuelie heads. The oil consumption is about a half quart to 2000 miles. Is this about normal for a modified small block. The engine was built by professionals, and has 19,000 miles on it. I use either shell rotella 15/40 or Dello 15/40 oil.

that'sel oil thatsthat'she wasting so much oil it is watering it out. u need to use conventional oil cause it needs more vicosity it will help it alot better. diesal oil basically gets watery and gets to thin. is that what they told u to use or u just started using that on your own. have more questions email [email protected] can also be used for facebook.
