I have never had a problem with this set before. I turned the set off on Saturday night and when I turned it on Sunday there was no sound. I have a perfect picture. I checked all the remotes and none were on mute. I've checked all the connections and nothing is loose. I've got it connected to a Time Warner cable box; dvd player and a vcr. If I try the vcr or dvd player I get a picture but no sound. I've got the closed caption on right now but it's really not the same as hearing it...LOL. Can anyone give me some more ideas to try before I think about buying a new set which I really cannot afford right now. Thanks.
