I have a 05 Chevy Malibu and its leaking gas what do you think it could be?

I was told maybe its my fuel pump should i wait or just replace it?

The only proper answer to this question is that the car needs to be put on a lift, get under there, and look for the wet area.

you would need to locate where it is leaking from..

where is it leaking from? it prolly wont be the fuel pump on tht new of a car. there just trying to get your money. change your fuel filter if it is near the engine bay, or if it is leaking fromt the back it might be a fuel line

many things. loose gas line, seal could have come off, ruptured gas line, fuel injection may be having issues. if it is near the tank it could be loose/broken line, or the piece that keeps the line tight to the tank. closer to the engine could be more of a fi problem.
