...what is the problem? It's not the service light that has the car and key threw it, it's not the one with a lightning bolt, it's the one located right on top of the gas meter. It looks like a tank or somehitng. Please help.
BTW- FYI- I don't have a maual, it was stolen out of my car when I first bought it. This is the reason why I am asking. DUH!

Rev the engine above idleing speed on the street for about two minutes,, floor the accelerator, flip it into drive, and continue straight for approx 400 yards you should hear a loud smashing sound perhaps screams and sirens, ignore those, just focus on the light. by the time the battery dies, the light should go out. (p.s. this 2005 vehical, does it have a manual just sitting there in the glovebox, where it's probably been since you Got the car?)or here's an even better idea, why not look on the chevy site for info on your model? but yahoo answers? PLEASE HELP? with your car? again start the car idle etc accelerate to above 90 kph for 400 yards brake slowly, then wait, the light will go out.

It sounds like the fuel tank sensor for low fuel is on or stuck. Do you drive a lot low on fuel? Call the dealership and ask them what it means.

Read your manual. Someone had to write it, at least take the time and appreciate their work.
