I have a '00 Pontiac Grand Prix-everytime I try to play a CD, an error code

comes up & cd comes out any ideas? Is there a reset code to take care of this problem? I know in my '01 Monte Carlo the reset codes were done through the stereo with the key on. If anyone can help, that would be great! Thanks in advance!
