i have 2001 chevy tahoe 5.3 liter?

the truck was running good in the morning and it suddenly started shaking and stalled i checked wen i turned it on again it was running like at 300rpm and was shaking alot so i reved it and it died the fuel pump was making a wierd noise like a popping noise so i checked the fuel pressure and it was like 10 psi......and i replaced the filter but the old one was not clogged or nothing.....the truck has only 122,000 miles could it be the pump went out already
