I have a 2 gallon fish tank with 1 betta (not agressive) he gets water changes often and has a under ground filter. Can I put in an Oto with him? since i kinda have problems with algae ( i think b/c i forget to turn off the light)

and i have a 5 gallon tank with a smaller betta (has a good filter!). I would like to put an Oto in here as well with a few tetras... What could i do with these tanks? im kinda thinking about a frog instead of tetras...ideas?
I do need to get something that will help clean the tank and not big on snails...ideas?

(oh and the tanks been running for about 4-5 months)
ok, didn't think i could... but figured i would try :-P Finding time to clean isn't easy, i do 2 schools at the same time, work and have church 4 times a week.
And by not agressive, i mean he doesn't flare at every little thing. doesn't even flare at his reflection

2 gallon tank- kinda small for an oto but you could try 2-3 ghost shrimp or mystery snails

5 gallon tank- again no oto cause they like groups but same snails or shrimp. frogs are fine with or without heater. if you have a heater and choose fish consider danios or rasboras. without heater you'll want to go white cloud or black skirt tetra. but beware of any long finned varieties or fish with red coloration because your betta might mistake them for another betta so just be cautious.
Good Luck, Have fun!

I think with both of those tanks being so small, you shouldn't add anything else and you should clean them yourself. Get a bigger tank (at least 10 gallons) if you want more fish. btw, all male bettas are aggressive.
