I have 10 comets, 2 goldfish and two sucky fish that clean the tank. Can you help?

They are changing colour and scales drop off.Your algae cleaners are only
chasing them if they feed off the bottom.It's their food.Watch them.Put some live plants in if you don't already have them.The sucky fish as you call
them like other fish enjoy a chew on them and they are good for the water.
 
i have noticed that some of the fish have scales missing, I'm just wondering if the 'sucky' fish have sucked their scales off as sometimes they chase the fish around. Is there any other suggestions as to why they are missing scales?
