...show low voltage? I have 1 1992 jeep cherokee 4.0L 6cyl that the voltage gauge is only showing between 9V and 10V. I have a New Aletrnator, new battery and still have a low voltage issue. I thought it was the atternator so I pulled it out ( pain in the butt) had it tested and it tested good. Since I already had it out I bought a new one and instaleld it thinking this would solve the proble. I did have a lot of static in the speakers prior to installing the new alt and that has gone away. I also did get a check engine light when all this started. I am the original owner and really like my jeep but need to get it fix....Please help.
