When an African American thinks about their ancenstory it can bring about some touch issues. I believe these issues are way worse for white people. Both white people today and black people today have nothing to do with slavery. However it is the white people who have to deal with the burden that our ancestors committed such horible vicimizations. In my opinion it brings up a worse for white people than black people. Ancestors of african americans were the victims and did nothing wrong and no reason to feel shame. I can't even look in the mirror without being disgusted by the fact that I am white and white people have done some of the most haenous things in history. I feel like there is reverse racism and that it is now harder for a white man to get by. I wish I was black and I feel like my life could be a whole lot better if I was. people respect you more if you are not white as well.
