I hate my Nokia N80...

I've had this phone since it was released in the USA via nokia.com and it's been crashing atleast twice a day on me! What a waste of $600. I've formatted it twice and upgraded it's firmware(even though the phone I have has the latest firmware). After all this anticipation for the phone, it has brought nothing, but dissapointments. I should've saved this money for a PS3. I am hoping that whenever the new N80 firmware comes out it will remedy this crashing nightmare, I will sell this phone and never buy a new nokia phone unless it's been in the market for 2 years.
 
That should be returned if it's that bad. I've experienced 0 crashes with my N80 where my previous N73 would crash sometimes twice a day. My E61 was stable as well with the FW upgrade.
 
Yeah you should replace it..

This is actually my 3rd N80.. Due to unsatisfied with loose slides..

Now I finally found the perfect N80 and its Made by Nokia..

Now its for sale.. Need the funds!! Hehehehe..
 
So you want to dump a phone you're having massive problems with for another product that's having massive problems and isn't proven technology? if i were you, i'd keep the phone.
 
I've had mine since April. I think H0ckey and I were some of the first to pick one up. I can't recall if or when mine has ever crashed. The slide's still tight. I had it for sale for a bit, but decided to keep it. I've used it lately, and the new fw is nice.
 
when i first got it.. back in april/may?? it was a piece of junk.. crappy build and horid battery and unstable wifi...

my second was more of less the same

my third.. the nokia n80ie... was pretty good... great build, decent battery compared to before.. but still crashed periodically.. not nearly as stable as my e61
 
Mine is stable. Slide is good and it never crashed. Maybe its just a bad batch? Return the phone, it does have a warranty since you bought it here in the States.
 
have you tried emailing someone at nokia? you bet you *** if my phone did that to me since getting it i would do nothing but complain
