I hate my E62 Contact Manager!

I have an E62. The contact manager links up with my Microsoft Outlook and exchanges information. However, my major beef with the contact manager on the E62 is the layout of the contact information when you select it on the phone. In particular, not all the information is available at a glance, you have to scroll down several fields before you can see all the information, and then the previous information scrolls of the screen. This is very annoying.

Also, the contact manager only allows a search by first and last name. I cannot search by company, or City, or anything else.

I am looking for suggestions on a replacement contact manager for my E62 that will still sync with Outlook, but will address my concerns above.

If you have every had a Palm Treo, that is what I am looking to achieve. Thanks. rdambros
 
Yes, s60v3 still uses the screen space quite inefficiently. You can use the in-built search application to get matches with company/city, etc. I have found that application very useful in my e50.
 
You can add in the search prog from E50 if you dont have it. But yes Nokia PIM is crap.

BTW, the Nokia enterprise phone unit (responsible for "E" series, at HQ in Findand was forced to lay off like 300 peope recently. I guess they figured layoffs were the proper response to their poor performance - rather than taking those 300 people and having them improve the offering for business oriented customers!

So no, dont expect any improvements in this area soon.
