...autoshop be made to fix it again? My car began having problems about a week ago where it would rev up and down, eventually it died on me. I had it towed to a shop where they figured it needed a new timing belt and a water pump. I paid $500.00 to have it fixed. I drove it off the lot and within a minute it began reving up and down again. I went back to the shop where I had it fixed and they told me "Hey it was dead when we brought it hear, and now it's running, we did our job." Now if I drive this car for the next couple of days and it dies again or if I take it to another garage and they determine the problem to be related to either the water pump or timing belt, can I make the people who fixed it repair it for free? Yes I have the receipt.
