I'm not a doctor, but I do know that scar tissue can cause sharp pains where the appendix was removed. I had my appendix removed and while I was in the hospital, my surgeon told me that I could expect some pain in the area later on from scar tissue. My friend had hers removed like 10 years ago and she also still feels some slight pains in the area. But if it's causing a lot of discomfort, I would consult a doctor.
