I had a sticker on my bike and it has left parts of the glue/paper etc- best

way to get it off? I am very conscience of scrathing the paintwork etc so whats the best way to get it off? If it was a normal object I would just soak it in sopay water, but as the surface is near vertical-this might be hard!

Rubbing it with a softer cloth just smudges it about and I cant pick it off
 
Goo Gone is the best product to use on that sticky stuff, you can find it in any store and it really works. I use it to get the gunk left behind by my registration and inspection stickers on my car windshield.
