...use gauze or leave it? Of course you are not conscious of what you do in your sleep. I guess I drooled a tad and and kind of did something with my mouth to catch it (sucked in?). I immediately woke up thinking, "hmmm, was that bad?" I got up and so-called 'spit' to see if there was blood in saliva which I knew there was b/c I tasted it a little.
Question: just because it bleeds a tiny bit and less than 5 minutes does that mean I still may have lost my blood clot?
Also, will the pain be different if the clot has come out. Mine does not, but I thought I would ask while I was on here. I figured it would if liquids touched it or cold air.

Do not mean to be rude, but telling EVERYONE to go to the tiny.....site. Does that really qualify as a legitimate answer? U r just copy and pasting on everyones health questions. Besides, I went there and they could not help me.
