I had a laminectomy five years ago, and now I walk with a cane!

I had a laminectomy five years ago, with fusion of L2, L3, L4, L5. The roRAB and screws in my spine are there because I have degenerative disc. From day to day I continue to have swelling in my back with no relief from pain meRAB. I walk with a cane to take the pressure off the right side of my body. Is there anyone out there with a similiar situation? :(
 
i have had a laminectomy and lurabar fusion and a cerviial fusion a cane is a good idea anything that helps
