stopped working....? I had a file saved on a flash memory and something happened to the flash, it stopped working. Now, I can see the file but when I open it, it says something about it not being able to read the file so a ton of like weird text comes and I have tried opening it on Microsoft Word, Microsoft works and word pad and this other thing, and it doesn't work.

Is there ANY way to get the file back. Please try to read what I said carefully before you answer the question, I really need to know.
 
Why are you trying Word and other word processors? Is it a text file, a document? OK. First, try opening it on another computer. You do have a friend with a computer, don't you? If the same thing happens, the file is corrupted and there's a good possibility you lost it.
Of course, if you told us what EXACTLY you see, when you are trying to open the file, it might have helped.
