I got sick and completely lost my voice just under a month ago. I'm better now, but I cant sing falsetto anymore! When i sing or hum falsetto i make this hissing noise and no discernible note comes out (it also produces some mucus from my throat). I'm worried I won't get the ability back. Also, while i lost my voice, i was doing lots of yelling while i was playing soccer.
Will i be able to sing falsetto again soon, and should i wait for my voice to heal or keep working to break it in? have i permanently damaged my voice?
