I got my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday and I got food stuck in the hole?

I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday. My healing has been going very well. I decided macaroni and cheese would be an okay food to eat because I could cook the noodles until they are very soft and my mouth doesn't hurt to chew a little. The problem is part of the macaroni shell got stuck in one of the sockets left over from my bottom wisdom tooth. I don't want to pick at it, as I am healing so well and do not want to cause infection or irritation. However, I'm concerned about there being a macaroni shell stuck in there! haha Anyway, I just started salt water rinses (was instructed to wait until 48 hours after surgery) so maybe that will help. I was given a syringe to use but I am not supposed to use it until 5 days after surgery, which would be Sunday. Should I simply stick with the salt water rinses for now and then try the syringe on Sunday? Or do you think it will just work itself out? I'm just worried because a macaroni shell can be sticky and I don't want it to cause problems!

I'm probably worrying about it a little too much, but if anyone has any advice please let me know :)
