I'm only 20 myself too and just by me getting someone pregnant I could lose my scholarship that I have right now if the school finds out. I tried talking her into an abortion but she is highly against it and I am too but right now we cannot deal with a child and me losing my scholarship. I don't want to be deadbeat but i don't know what is best at moment because I cannot lose this scholarship it's my life. I told her my thoughts and she went off and said she would just file child support. She said she talked to her uncle who is a lawyer and said if I ran then the "deadbeat dad law" would be in effect. Is the even real or she make it up? I know I sound like a bad person but i'm under so much stress and confused :/. I cannot be a father right now with my scholarship up at stake. What do I do? I wish I could be there for her and have scholarship...that's what I really wish.
