I barely scraped the side of the other car and the only damages I could see was a couple of scratches on the door. The guy I hit suggested that we don't go through insurance, but that I pay for the damages when he gets it fix. The problem is he is taking his to a lexus garage to get it repainted and the estimate he gave me later is $2500!
