...opened and stopped at the light.? a big rig was in the left/straight lane. I guess it wanted to make a wide right turn, because it started turning right. I didn't see a signal on, and it was not straddling the lanes.
Luckily, I was still in my lane and had not moved. When he started the turn, I noticed the bed of the truck coming towards my car. I couldn't move forward, backwards, or sideways so I started laying on the horn to get him to notice I was there. He never did look and kept going. He tore up the whole left side of my car. Today I found out my car is now a total loss.
I ended up going to the doctor after the accident and was told I was "real bruised" and that more pain would come the next day. I was prescribed muscle relaxants and motrin and I had to get a shot for inflamation and tetanus.
I have had pain in my back, shoulders, and neck ever since that day (last wednesday). The day after the accident I had a real tender forehead so I guess I hit it. The day after the headaches came. I still have headaches off and on. I went through nights of not being able to sleep because of my back, arms, and it felt like someone punched the crap out of my left side of face.
Is this considered injuries for my claim? The truck hit me and there was no injury to the driver of course and he had nothing but a scratch on the side of his bed. Gave his info to my insurance company (he didn't give it to me, the cops did), but don't know what is going on. I plan on going to the chiropractor tomorrow because I can't even sit up straight. My boyfriend tried to rub it out of my back and I was almost in tears...
