i got hit on the head

i got hit on the head with a box containing 6 regular size bottles of shampoo (about 5 pounds). it fell from the top shelf 10 feet up, i immediately felt dizzy and shaky and noticed later in the night i had forgotten my passwords to websites i visit at least once a day. no bump surfaced but the back of my head it tender.. is a bump supposed to surface?

A bump would not necessarily surface. It sounds like you may have a concussion. Did you go to the doctor?
