...license n do i declare it? i was stopped for drink driving i owned up to the offence and got a ban may i say this was NOT a crash related offence, i was stupid and didn't get a solicitor, they screwed me over big time! i got 20 months ban and no option to reduce it, i lost my job my home and ran up debts to over 5 grand, im still paying for it now.i did my time and had to take both tests again, i thought the worst was over, how wrong was i, i now have to pay oer £2500 for my car insurance on a 1 litre car, not Only that i struggle to find work as my job involves driving abit, most positions get a van provided as im a plumber, ive been reading up recently on laws an so and so and i am disgusted that getting a drink driving ban will stay on your license for 11 YEARS! but if you get done for CAUSING DEATH BY DANGEROUS DRIVING this only stays on your license for 4 YEARS were is the justice in that? anyway i want to know if i have to declare this to insurance company's, with having to resit both tests im not sure, as it is a new license? if someone could let me and guide me in the right direction to having a case against anything that could help reduce my driving costs i would be very grate full
