Hi, so Basically I got caught stealing a pair of $35 skullcandy headphones from winners. I was arrested and held in custody until my mom came and picked me up. They called the police and now I have to get fingerprinted and go to court. I am 14 years old. I feel terrible, I am now banned from the mall for 10 YEARS.
What can I expect when going to court? Should I have a lawyer? Will I go to jail? Will I be charged? Will this be on my record FOREVER? Will I have a criminal record and will I still be able to go on vacation out of Canada? (BTW I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada, Incase laws are different in different regions)
This is so stressful, it was definately not worth it, I'm going through all of this trouble now just because of a stupid 35 dollar pair of headphones. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP GUYS. PLEASE SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY. AND NO LECTURING ME ABOUT HOW STEALING IS BAD, IVE BEEN LECTURED ENOUGH AND SURE AS HELL KNOW I MADE A MISTAKE.
