I got ATT internet at 1.5 MBPS, I bought a sony blu-ray & got netflix.?

I got a lot of buffering when watching netflix "watch instantly" in my blu-ray. So I cancelled netflix after my 14day trial period. What could be the reason for this to much bufering? Is the 1.5 MBPS too slow?
 
yea thats pretty slow. If your going to watch movies you need higher speeds, DSL always takes longer to buffer because its slower. You would need like 7.5 MBPS, thats cable speed. But if you don't want to change to cable you can call AT&T to give you higher speeds. Its a little more expensive but im sure they'll have faster speeds than 1.5 for dsl
