now they're dodging me? I got a conditional job offer from a certain state correctional system. I attended one of their events, did some tests. A few weeks later, I got a letter saying I was offered the job conditionally, provided I passed a background check, physical, psych test, whatever.
A couple years ago, I was put on pre-trial diversion for something stupid I said on the internet. I had to do community service and whatnot. There wasn't supposed to be an arrest or conviction record, everything was dropped save for a court disposition that's supposed to be thrown away. Apparently, this was found. I was asked to provide proof everything was dropped, and I did.
I emailed a couple weeks ago and asked if I was still being considered for the job. I didn't get a response. I called the office, and the lady said they'd talk to me when they found my file, and I got an excuse. I was called back mistakenly an hour or two later, because the women apparently wrote my number down, but mistook me for another guy.
Why won't they tell me whether or not I'm still being considered? Do I still have a prayer of getting this job?

I made a joke about certain leaders. Obviously, it was bad enough to warrant a visit by federal agents, but not serious enough to prosecute.
Well, they do, regardless. If you say it, you broke the law. They have the green light to investigate you.
None of these people cared, they all stressed to me that only CERTAIN people would see it. I didn't do anything most of these trolls on here don't do already. My record is crystal-clean besides that, not even a traffic ticket.
