i got a citation for possession of marijuana what should i expect from the court ?

i didnt get arrested or anything the cop just gave a ticket and i had less than 2oz and it's my first time getting a ticket in my life should i be worried? is there any chance of me going to jail ? should i get a lawyer? please help me guys im scared
i dont smoke weed at all i was just going to try it with my freind that day n i got that ticket
it was in austin texas by the way
 
You won't serve time, its a misdemeanor and a citable offense, which means the judge will probably charge you $500 and or some community service.
