I give up, the nerve block made me worse and..

i'd really like to know when to expect my face to stop puffing out like a baloon. I look terrible and it's been almost a month
 
I also had the nerve block but only 2 shots, it wasn't helping so doc said no need to get the 3rd shot, I bloated like a pig, gained so much weight none of my clothes fit, & I couldn't stop eating. mon will be 3weeks since the 2nd shot, & I am starting to thin back out. I had night sweats also with these shots & that too is going away. So I would think it should start tapering off for you also. Good Luck gijuie
 
Hi, everyone reacts differently and sometimes it may take a while to go away. It seems for me, the more shots I rack up over time, the more quickly I get bloat/ moon face/weight gain and the longer it takes to go away. For myself, it seems to come off veryyy slowly anymore, like over 5 to 6 months. But that doesn't mean it will take that long for you.

My sister was on oral prednisone for a long time due to several different autoimmune diseases and she really blew up! When she ended the meRAB, it also took her many months for all the bloat/weight gain to come off and see her normal thin face again. But it comes off very slowly, and it's hard for you to see it b/c you look at yourself every day. Then all of a sudden you'll start realizing you have one less chin, or your eyes look bigger, or see some cheek bones again. So it should come off, but it will probalby take some time.
 
Everywhere seems to be coming off but my face. I eat very meagerly but healthfully , i've lost from my body, but can't seem to get rid of the bloat in my face. It's so weird how it bloats. Not just in the cheeks but at the temples and everything. One big round face *sigh* I guess i just have to laugh it off, but its rather depressing to look in the mirror.
 
I am sorry you are experiencing this but unfortunately it is a common side effect from steroiRAB.
