Hey all.
I've decided to venture into the foreign lands of smart/PPC phones from my usual "dumb" phones. The reasons/requirements are as follows:
- Needs to have great RF
- Needs to be phone first, PC substitute second.
- Needs to have quadband (or US tri/dual bands)
- Needs to have wifi (I'm at airports a lot and I'm too cheap to buy a data plan, thus 3G not important.)
- Needs to fit in my pant pocket
- Full qwerty (or at least suretype)
- Would be nice if it had a nice res., music capability, camera.
After trolling on the forum for what seems like weeks, I was pretty set on getting an unlocked S620, then the p4360 came out (tad big, but manageable). Well, I was still leaning towards the Excalibur until the Samsung i600 came out. Then the BB 8820 was (sorta) announced. Now I'm a freakin' mess, and I have no idea what I want.
Any insight or advice on any current smart/PPC users?
