I get a small sharp pain in my lung?

I get a sharp pain in my lung. It can happen in either one. It hurts when in breathe in deeply and will only go away if I raise my arm up over my head and then strecth to the opposite side for a couple of min. I know its has nothing to do with my ribs. Mom use to have the same problem but as she got older it stop. I was just wondering what it could be.
