I froze a duck, it thawed, then I re-froze it, is it ok to cook ?

I bought a fresh duck ( already gutted etc ), I put it in the freezer and several days later removed it from the freezer and put it in the fridge for several hours, ( it had began to thaw / defrost ). I then put it back in the freezer. My question is - will it be safe to defrost again and subsequently cook ?
