I found some strange shortcut folders in my usb flash disk is it some kind of virus?

I used to use my usb flash in computer rental, and suddenly today when I open it, there are some shorcut folders in every folder of my usb flash.There are at least two new shortcut folders named : New Harry Potter and...; and Microsoft, but if there are another folder(s) contained in the spesific folder the shortcut of it will also appear. All of those shortcuts location are in C:\WINDOWS\System 32. Does my usb flash infected? and if it does, can i remove it???
